You don't need any care qualifications to start. We'll support you to achieve the Care Certificate (entry-level qualification) and, if desired, Diploma Level 2 and 3 in Health & Social Care.

For most care worker roles, having your own car and full UK driving license is strongly preferred as you'll travel between clients. However, we do have some roles accessible by public transport in town centers. Discuss your situation with us during the application process.

We offer flexible positions with various shift patterns - mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, sleep-ins. We'll discuss your availability and preferences and match you with suitable shifts. Many staff work school hours, weekends only or other flexible patterns.

Yes, all induction training is fully paid. You'll also be paid for mandatory refresher training and ongoing CPD. We believe in investing in staff development.

An Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check is legally required for care roles. We arrange and pay for this - you just provide information. The check searches police records for relevant criminal convictions. The process takes 2-4 weeks on average.

That's completely normal! Personal care (helping with washing, toileting, dressing) can feel daunting at first, but you'll receive thorough training and shadow experienced carers before doing it independently. Maintaining someone's dignity during personal care is incredibly important work.

Absolutely. We offer clear career pathways from Care Worker to Senior Care Worker, Team Leader, Care Coordinator, and management roles. We also support specialist development (dementia specialist, palliative care specialist, etc.). Many of our managers started as care workers.

Care is needed 7 days a week, so weekend and bank holiday work is part of care work. However, we try to accommodate preferences where possible. Some staff prefer weekends, others work weekday-only patterns. Discuss your availability during the application.

Many people join us whilst working elsewhere and transition gradually. We can offer flexible start dates, part-time/bank hours initially, or weekend-only work whilst you transition. We're happy to work around notice periods at current jobs.
